For The Hanging Dog Company, that calling is rooted in faith, strengthened by heritage, and carried forward through loyalty—to God, to family, to community, and to the values that endure from one generation to the next.
Our motto, "Guided by Heritage, Powered by Loyalty”, reflects who we are. We honor the lessons, traditions, and faith passed down by those who came before us. Their example reminds us that success is not measured merely by what we accumulate, but by what we contribute. Loyalty compels us to remain steadfast in our commitments, faithful in our work, and generous with the blessings God has entrusted to us.
From the beginning, The Hanging Dog Company was founded with a purpose greater than business itself. We believe that every opportunity to serve customers is also an opportunity to serve God. That is why we have committed 10% of our gross revenue to support missions and ministry efforts dedicated to sharing Jesus Christ throughout communities and the world. Every product we create and every purchase our customers make becomes part of a larger mission. Together, we help support those who are carrying the Gospel to places near and far. We help provide resources for ministries, outreach efforts, church planting, humanitarian aid, and opportunities to share the hope found only in Jesus Christ.
Our inspiration comes from the words of the prophet Isaiah:
"Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, 'Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?' And I said, 'Here am I. Send me!'"— Isaiah 6:8
While not everyone is called to travel across oceans or preach from a pulpit, we believe every believer is called to participate in God's mission. Through The Hanging Dog Company, and you our customers, we answer Isaiah's call in the way God has equipped us—through our work, our resources, and our commitment to give.
